It was submitted by the Hartford Public Library adn was taken from microfilm copies of the Harford Day Spring archives. 60 Years Ago - May 30th, 1941 Neil Kime of Kansas City, MO. visited his sister, Mrs. George Olds Jr., and other local relatives on Sunday and Monday. Mr Kime, and executive at the national headquarters of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, was en route home after a business trip to Detroit. He is a former Hartford boy and son of the late George W. Kime, for many years the sexton of the Hartford cemeteries. While here Mr. Kime paid a visit to the Fred Allen home and the familiar boyhood scenes along the Paw Paw River which he and Henry Allen indulged in some reminiscent bantering in the "Around Our Town" column in this newspaper. ____________________ The following information was shared by one of our subscribers long ago: Descendants of George W.
