Sherry Sherman: Hi, nice to meet another "Cousin". My wife is Daughter of John Abraham Kimes, b. 9/27/1897, d. 11/17/1961. he was a younger Brother of your Bertha. Their father had 11 children. You may hear from Donald Kimes, ( his father is Elmer, another brother), and he has done an excellent job of documenting the history back to the father of Jacob, Abraham. From there the Keim list has pretty well connected us up with Johannes Keim of Germany, b.1675. Any documents I have came from Donald, but I can give you a reasonably accurate list of names and dates. Search Rootsweb and you will find a lot of documentation, especially in the archived letters. At that point, the line gets fuzzy with no clear connection I've seen so far.
