Margaret "Peggy" Reitzell was first married to Adam Reitzell Sr while they were still in the Palatinate. Her son was Adam Reitzell Jr and he became the stepson of Philip Kime after Peggy married him about 1753. The story is that Adam Reitzell Sr died on the voyage to North America. Adam Reitzell Jr obtained a land grant for 150 acres adjoining his stepfather in 1789. I have never seen any mention of Peggy Reitzell's maiden name and I believe it is unknown. Generally, I put maiden names in my data even if I have previous marriage surnames. Am I wrong?
