Meigs Co. didn't exist in 1810 but was part of Athens Co. There are no existing census records for Ohio before 1820, at least not at the National Archives in Chicago. Jacob was listed on the tax list for Athens Co. OH in 1910, but I didn't see anything other than his name. There is speculation by those of us interested in the Meigs Co. Kimes that he is the father of Elias, William, Thomas, Samuel, and John Kimes who were in Meigs Co. about the same time. In 1830 Elias was listed right next to Jacob in the Chester Twp., Meigs Co. OH census. How do you know he was married to a Margaret? Was there a will? Bill Bojanowski
