Faye sent me a couple emails with some data that might prove helpful to some of you with interests in Easton and/or Northampton Co, PA. She states none of this is copyrighted so am forwarding this to the list with her permission. __________________ Faye writes: In a local history I found a listing for a Susan KEIM. In the marriage license application it states she was born 1824 in Northampton County, with a residence of South Easton, PA. It says she was the daughter of Samuel KEIM and his wife Sally. She had been previously married to a man named DEITERLINE, who died August 1877. This application was for a marriage that took place on 31 May 1893 in Waverly, Lackawanna County, PA to a Simon BIESECKER, resident of Waverly. A second email from Faye included some add'l info: The information I sent you is from a copy of Simon BIESECKER and Susan KEIM DEITERLINE's marriage license from Lackawanna Co, PA. On it she states that she was 69 years old (1824) born in Northampton County. That she was a resident of South Easton, PA; which is in Northampton County. She states that her father is Samuel KEIM and his wife was named Sally She was previously married to a man named DEITERLINE who died August 1877. Simon states that he was 69 years old also. Born in Pittston, Luzerne County, PA (Pittston is halfway between Wilkes Barre, Luzerne County and Scranton Lackawanna County, PA) He states that he is a resident of Waverly, Lackawanna County, PA. (Waverly is not far from the Milwaukee section of Lackawanna County that I mentioned in my post to the list the week of 23 April 2001.) He is the son of Conrad BIESECKER and Margaret SWARTZ. He was previously married to a Melissa MILLER ( I got this from the local history) She died June 1892. Simon and Susan were married on 31 May 1893 in Waverly, Lackawanna County, PA and it was written across the top of the application "Don't Publish" which meant not to put in the paper. Faye
