I remember her funeral as it was the first one I ever attended as a young girl. It was at the Parker & Son Funeral Home in Lodi. As was Harry's. They had 5 children. 1 son, 4 girls (1 set of twins). Marcene married Alvah Boyd Brown, Sr. on 26 Jun 1930. They had 3 children, my mom and her two older brothers. Alvah was born 02 Apr 1907 to Lewis Charles Brown (15May1866-3Apr1940) and Frances Ellen Arnold (9Sep1876-8Apr1942) and was one of a total of 13 children. He died 1 Sep 1971 from a heart attack. He'd gone out to milk and while waiting on the cows laid down to take his normal snooze in the hay. Never woke up. He was where he was happy. Our family, through the Keim's, has been on the same sections of land since 1828. We're one of the last 4 families (I think) left in Wayne Co, Ohio, still on the family land.
