Cindy, Sure wish I could place this as "my" Jacob Keim, but I have no evidence that he was in the ministry. I do know that he taught at Ashland College in Ohio which is affiliated , I beleive with the Mennonite Church. There sure are a lot of coinidences though..... My Jacob Keim was born in Holmes County, Ohio in 1848, although the family did move around and some children are noted as born in Tuscawaras. Jacob had a brother, Josiah KEIM who was a minister of the Progressive Bretheren Church. They are from Nicholas Keim's line and many of the surnames are familiar. Jacob's mother was Lydia DOMER (no Jacob that I know of, but I am kind of at a brick wall with this line) and his Aunt Christiana married a Jacob KAUB. Yoder and Hostetler surnames associated with this family. If anyone has any insights innto this, would love to hear from you! Carla
