I need help list, Looking for a Jacob KIME b.1865-66 somewhere in OHIO. He moved to Clinton county, IA around 1885. From the 1920 census I know his parents were born in PA. I'm sure it was Berks county that they hail from. What county in Ohio, I have no idea! Any Idea's? Taking all suggestion's!! Chuck

But, since he died AFTER 1920, how about info given on his death certificate.... it might tell WHERE he was born. If the death certificate yields no information, you might be able to track him with censuses? Try to find out where each of his children were born, then where he married, etc. Oh, the family of Jacob and Sarah (Hicks) KIMES was in Clinton county, IA when the 1870 census was taken. But they moved to Johnson Co before 1880. Perhaps one of their descendants had a Jacob born in OH!!!!! They lived in Meigs Co for a number of years before moving west. This isn't my branch so those subscribers that have researched this line will know specific dates. How about it Mitzie, Don, and Richard?
