Further investigation is needed, but it looks like Mary's mother, Isabelle Kimes Reckords, was the dau of Peter and Jane (Gardner) Kimes, who lived in Brown co, OH. Peter Kimes was a son of the Jacob Kimes that died in Nicholas Co, KY, ca 1839. Lori Chaffin <lorilchaffin@gmail.com> wrote: Name : Marry E. Hi Kit, The Ohio Death Certificates are from 1908 - 1953. When and if they will be adding any more recent ones I have no idea. These were from the records that the LDS have on their Bata site. I would think in time they will be adding records from other states that they have. but I don't think that they have a time frames set up for that. All the information they have is being transcribed by volunteers so I would think it depends on how many people they have working on it. As far as when Ohio will make more recent death certificates available to the public, I have no idea. The Ohio Genealogical Society might be able to give you an answer on that. Sorry I couldn't be of more help with your question. But I will keep an eye on the LDS site and if they add more I will post them. Lori, Thanks for all the work of posting this information. Since most of my family is from Ohio & West Virginia, I am looking for any names that fit in my lineage. How often is this information released? I think they have to wait 50 years to release it, but I would think that we are getting close to seeing the names up to 1958. -- Kit Kimes Oswego, IL

Anna Maria Wagner DID have a son named Solomon Florentine KEIM born abt that time period. I have not found his christening record. He did have 2 brothers. Charles (aka Karl d. before 1815 and John d. after 1835). I found a Solomon KEIM and family in Bethlehem, Northampton Co. in the 1830 census and believed it to be this Solomon. Based upon a sherriff's deed record I found in Northampton Co. last summer, Solomon was living in Philadelphia in 1835. I also located an obituary for the widow of a Solomon, Anna M. KEIM, listing her death as 13 Dec 1887. It was published in a Northampton Co. newspaper. In the Berks Co. Register of Wills Index I located a Solomon F. KEIM, will dated 1861 of Ontelaunee Twp. The will is 4 pages long. It's on my 'to-do' list. Does anyone have easy access to that data? What are the odds of 2 Solomon Florentine KEIM's born in PA approx. the same time? Michigan Dept of Community Health Genealogical Death Indexing System Year of Death, ranges from 1867 to 1897 I got this from another mailing list I am on. For some reason I can get to the site better from my MSN browser than from my Firefox browser, so you may have to work with it a bit. If you can't get in let me know and I will copy and paste the info to the list. I found a few Kime and one Kimes listed here. When the names come up you can click on them and get some of the details from the dearth recorders. http://www.mdch.state.mi.us/pha/osr/gendisx/search2.htm Lori
