    3. Last year when my brother and I were doing some research and needed pictures of old tombstones, we used a new pump sprayer, like you would use for spraying bugs, filled it with water, and used a very soft brush on a handle. The sprayer, after being pumped was gentle and cleaned the stone nicely along with the brush, and the stone became darker when wet and took an excellent picture! We were amazed at how great the pictures came out after we had wet the stones. But make sure the brush you use is soft!! The water will loosen any debris eventually, just be patient. 3. This got me thinking about the Farmstead again and while surfing the net, came across the Historic Preservation Trust's writeup on Jacob Keim and his farm: http://www.historicpreservationtrust.org/hist_sites/jkfarmstead.html P.S. Hope someone else reads the writeup referred to above... especially Farmstead committee members. Are those dates accurate? I thought Johannes, his father, died in 1753. --------------------------------- Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile. Try it now.

    1. [KEIM] another Johannes KEIM in early Berks Co records
    2. Cindy Kimes
    3. There was another Johannes Keim we've seen/read little about... one confirmed in the Oley Hill Church. Supposedly this Johannes Keim was confirmed and communed the first time on 16 Apr 1756, and was listed in the church records as: Johannes Keim, aged 19 That places his birth ca 1736. And with his name being Johannes, he was the son of a John/Johann/Johannes. So whose son could he be? What Johann KEIM was living in the Oley Valley in 1756? --------------------------------- Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile. Try it now.
