    1. [KEIM] RE: Henry 1820-1840, Bethlehem PA

    3. I'm wondering IF the Henry of 1830 is the same as the Henry of 1840? The ages of he and his spouse are the same in both censuses! Only way I can reason this could be is if the censuses were taken at such times that both he and his wife had already turned 40 when the 1830 census was taken and by 1850, they were STILL 50 yrs. old! Of course, the census taker may have obtained the info from a neighbor on one of these! Any other possible reasons? 3. Diana, I believe James Henderson Kime and Henderson Kime are the same individual. See the following note I made from a conversation with Francine Swaim of Liberty NC. She thought James Henderson Kime and Henderson Kime were probably the same person. She said D.I. Offman often used nicknames and whatever name the person casually used. So the extensive association of "Henderson" Kime with the Browers in the Will and the slave sale agreement and Rev. Offman's records of the marriage to Mary Brower it seems likely that James Henderson and Henderson are the same person. Last year I documented the birth and death dates for James Henderson Kime as b 11 Nov 1820 died 22 Mar 1896. He is buried at Shiloh Methodist Cemetery outside Liberty in Row 9. He married Mary C Brower and was the son of John Kime and Judith Tillery.
