This Peter Kimes is my husband's ancestor, but of all the researchers looking for evidence, no one has found the "proof" Peter was b. 1791. Censuses list: 1810 census lists him 16-26 yrs. old = 1784-1794 1820 census lists him 26-45 yrs. old = 1775-1794 1830 census lists him 40-50 yrs. old = 1780-1790 1840 census lists him 50-60 yrs. old = 1780-1790 When you compile the data, the age range indicates Peter was born 1784-1790.
