    3. This Peter Kimes is my husband's ancestor, but of all the researchers looking for evidence, no one has found the "proof" Peter was b. 1791. Censuses list: 1810 census lists him 16-26 yrs. old = 1784-1794 1820 census lists him 26-45 yrs. old = 1775-1794 1830 census lists him 40-50 yrs. old = 1780-1790 1840 census lists him 50-60 yrs. old = 1780-1790 When you compile the data, the age range indicates Peter was born 1784-1790. 2. Thanks for shareing this info cindy, I've been looking and looking for years. Should of know her nic would of been as simple as Tivie lol.. Hopefully now I can find her as a Tivie in the census, Oh but you did supply me with her hubby's name so should be alot easier now to find them :-D Thanks again. Seems strange tho,I wonder why Archibald would of went by Abraham. He already had a brother named Abraham, and father was Abraham p kimes. His oldest son was also Abraham (Abe) Kimes married to Rebecca Clark later down the line. They moved to Arkansas.Well anyways, just seems strange to me why he did that, Was he doing it in memory because the other Abrahams ( not son) died in the Civil war or something? Myrtleen Kimes

    3. He's only listed one time as Abraham, isn't he? I'm guessing it's likely an error... could be the census taker goofed or maybe a neighbor provided the info.
