Also don't leave out KIEHM. I never see this spelling and it is my Great Great Grandmothers married name, BERTHA KIEHM. She was married to Louis KIEHM ABT 1844, Prussia. They had 10 children. Emma, Louis F., Julius, Agustus, Minnie, Richard, Matilda, Rudolph, Harriet Susan (My Great Grandmother), Hedwig. I haven't found Bertha's maiden name so, that is a dead end for me there. Louis F. married Mary L. END in 1873 and had a daughter Bertha b. Abt 1874 named after his Mother. Harriet Susan, married Carl Henry SCHUENEMANN Abt. 1882 Cook Co. Ill. I've not come across the variation you ask about, but someone might have mistaken the name, pronounced it differently, and written the surname that way.
