I am searching for info on Charles KAYLOR and his father Henry. Here is the info that I think I know. Charles was born near Brookville, Jefferson Co. PA between 1835-38 according to his Civil War Records. His parents were Henry and Rebecca. The mother could be Mary BUCK or she could be a second wife. Henry was born in PA between 1805-17. Charles siblings were Joshua, born 1841, James-1844,Christopher-1847, Amanda-1848, Joseph-1854, Josephine-1854, Nora-1857, Amy-1859, Phoebe-1863, Jane-1867, Lum or Irving-1869. They show up in the 1860 census in Geauga Co. OH. Charles married Sara VAN DYKE in 1866 in Genoa, Ottawa Co. OH. He divorced Sara and remarried Melissa Jane ARMSTRONG in 1883 in Cheshire, Allegan Co. MI. Charles Civil War Records have a Daniel Shaffer listed as a cousin. Any help that anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated.
