    3. Here are two OBITs that involves both variants KAYLOR and KOHLER/KOEHLER, appear to be related. The KAYLOR version is my relation, but not the KOEHLER/KOHLER OBIT: State Journal & Register, Springfield, IL 12 Dec 1998: BETTY L. KAYLOR: Lavergne, Tenn.--Betty L. Kaylor, 70, of Lavergne, Tenn., formerly of Springfield, died Wednesday, Dec 9, 1998 at Southern Hills Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.. She was born Aug 30, 1928 in Rhode island the daughter of August and Elizabeth KOHLER. She married Merl Frederick KAYLOR; He preceded her in death in 1987. Mrs. Kaylor was a registered nurse. Survivors: a daughter, Sue Caswell, of Lavergne, Tenn.; Three sons, William Kaylor, of Antioch, Tenn., Richard Kaylor of Madison, Tenn., and Karl Kaylor of Springfield; 28 grandchildren; two sisters, Faye Gilker and Lilly Kohler, both of Springfield; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services: 11a. m. Monday, Staab Funeral Home, the Rev. Joe H. Harrod officiating. Burial: Camp Butler National Cemetery. - --------------------------------------------------------- State Journal-Register, Springfield, IL 12 Feb 1994 Helen M. Booker, 67, of Springfield, died at 12:45 pm Thursday at St. John's Hospital. She was born 11 Nov 1926, in Springfield, the daughter of August and Elizabeth Johnson KOEHLER. She married Virgil C. Booker, Sr. in 1944. She was preceded in death by a sister, Lorraine Nesbitt and a brother Edward KOEHLER. Mrs. Booker was co-owner of Booker Window Cleaning, retiring in 1986. Surviving are her husband, Virgil C. Booker, Sr.; three sons, Virgil C. Booker, Jr. of Divernon, Ralph Booker of Virden, and Larry Booker of Riverton; four daughters, Barbara Smith, Sandra Gordon and Theresa Booker, all of Springfield, and Judith Nolting of Petersburg; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Fay Gilker and Lilly Mae KOEHLER, both of Springfield and Betty KAYLOR of Texas; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 3 pm Monday at Bisch and Son Funeral Home, the Rev. Ralph Irmler officiating.
