I am attempting to locate any information on "Lewis Jacob Kaylor" who was born in Pipe Co. Ill./Ind. He married Miranda Catherine Cheesemen/Chesseman some time around 1854 and they had five children: Alice; Charles; George; Ruby Marrie; and Clara. Miranda had two sons from two previous marriages: Ceph and ??? Have not been able to find anything on Lewis Jacob and I thought there might be since he was blind at his death and lived with his youngest daughter, Clara in Kansas City, Kansas. The family spent most of Ruby's (my grandmother's) life in Kansas. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreicated.
