Hi Dot, Did you have any response to your query? I'm also looking for information on a George Henry Kaylor/Kaler b. 1796 Fairfield, Conn. Place of birth came from Masonic Lodge in N.J. where he later lived. I found George in NYC where he married (I think) Margaret DeKlyn Turner 1824-26. I have not a clue to his parents.
