Dave, Thank you very much. This list is very active and helpful. John, Martha was married to Dr. Johnston Lykins, who was the first mayor by default. I was given that info on this list just last week. I am searching for information on the Livingston family. I am hoping to connect Martha with other family from KY. I think she was a sister of the ancestor I'm researching. Everything fits- I just don't have the proof yet. I'd like to find something that lists siblings. In her biography in the book by C.R. Barnes, it says she came to MO to live with a sister, Mrs. Thomas J. Hughes, in Jefferson City, MO- then moved to Lexington, MO. (I love the fact that the womans first name is almost never used!)
