    1. [KansasCity] DELETION FROM LIST
    2. Dr. Kenneth L. Goldsberry
    3. Maureen our ListMom..... and gang.... KC-L is a fantastic place to learn a little history of the area.. and I appreciate the efforts of so many people that "work" the Libraries, Courthouses etc.... I have contacted some people individually, rather than keep "repeating the needs" on KC-L. We have a few possible leads as to where the records of the old Carroll Undertaking Company (Funeral Home in the 1950's) might be located... or the potters cemetery location of 1899. But nothing positive to date. Remember, my Ggrandfather, George Goldsberry had been in the hospital where he was held for pneumonia and died of a massive heart attack on 22 Apr 1899 while walking on Fourth St. near Wyandotte and Delaware shortly after he was released. He had a prescription in his pocket with his name on it and that was the only identification. The newspaper stories (three of them) indicated he was a "homeless wanderer and a familiar character about the north end saloons for years" He had left his family (wife and 11 children) around 1892 and his daughter in Galena, KS saw the newspaper story and rushed to KC....but burial had already taken place. Upon talking to the coroner, police and hospital personnel regarding physical conditions of the deceased George Goldsberry, everyone was convinced that it was her father. If any new KC-L members might have a suggestion or two....or John or some of the other "faithful" stumble on to something... please retain my e-mail address and contact me directly . Thanks again... and good luck...
