"The Kansas City Journal" (Missouri) Monday, May 15, 1893 RODE OFF ANOTHER MAN'S HORSE John BRENTZ, of Blue Springs, was arrested yesterday morning, at the instigation of D. F. LEVASY, for horse stealing. BRENTZ came to Independence Saturday night and imbibed too much liquor. When ready to go home, he rode off LEVASY's horse. He stated that he was under the influence of liquor to such an extent that he did not know what he was doing.
