    3. "The Kansas City Times" (Missouri) Monday, February 3, 1913 BOY LEFT HOSPITAL IN "NIGHTY" Clad in a thin nightgown, a pair of house slippers which were much too large for him, and a cap, Jimmie LOVEALL, 10 years old, a patient at the Mercy Hospital, left that institution at 7 o'clock last night. Early yesterday morning, Martin EFT, 15 years old, a ward of the juvenile court, who was sent to the hospital Friday for medical aid, escaped. When a nurse went to the room of little Jimmie LOVEALL on the second floor at 8 o'clock last night, she didn't find the boy. His clothing was in its usual place, but no Jimmie to be seen. The window was open. She looked out and just beside the window ran a telephone ground wire which would hold Jimmie's seventy-five pounds. Then she saw tracks of the big house slippers in the snow near where the wire entered the ground. Jimmie LOVEALL lives with his mother at 6612 East Sixteenth Street and Martin EFT's home is at 129 South Oakley Street. Both boys went home. ================================================= (I have no connection with these people but I'd appreciate knowing if you found this posting helpful.) =================================================
