"The Kansas City Times" (Missouri) Thursday, February 27, 1913 Home City, Kas., Feb. 26. -- Postmaster and Mrs. Jacob BEVERIDGE celebrated their golden wedding anniversary today with a public reception, program and supper at the Turner Hall. Despite the stormy weather, more than one hundred guests were present. Mr. and Mrs. BEVERIDGE came to Kansas in 1869 and resided in Lawrence one year. Leaving Lawrence they moved to a farm a mile and a half from Home City and later moved to Home City. Mr. BEVERIDGE was appointed postmaster last year. The couple have nine living children, six daughters and three sons.
