    3. DRESSER, ROBERTS, THOMPSON, TUEFEL "The Kansas City Times" (Missouri) Monday, December 6, 1915 DEATHS IN KANSAS CITY. Thomas Brooks ROBERTS died yesterday morning at the family home, 349 Washington Boulevard, Kansas side. He was 87 years old. Mr. ROBERTS was born in Brighton, England, and came to Kansas from Canada in 1871 to take charge of the car shops of the Union Pacific Railroad. Mr. ROBERTS held the position of master car builder for the Union Pacific until 1891, when he accepted a similar position with Armour & Co. Before coming to Kansas, Mr. ROBERTS was employed by the Northwestern Railroad, the Michigan Central and the Detroit & Milwaukee railroads as a bridge and mill builder. Mr. ROBERTS was elected twice to the city council of old Wyandotte on the Republican ticket, and took an active interest in politics in that city. He is survived by three sons, Joseph ROBERTS, master mechanic for the Union Pacific in Kansas City; T. G. ROBERTS of Chicago, and James ROBERTS of the Kansas side, and three daughters, Mrs. Emily THOMPSON and Mrs. Mollie DRESSER, both of Chicago, and Mrs. Elmira TUEFEL of Little Rock, Ark. Funeral services will be held at the Masonic Temple on the Kansas side at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon.
