    3. BELL, DAILY, VANANKEN "The Kansas City Times" (Missouri) Wednesday, May 6, 1903 AN OLD SETTLER DEAD. James S. BELL, one of the oldest residents of Kansas City, Kas., a former member of the city council and of the school board of old Wyandotte City, died yesterday morning at his home, 2118 Newell avenue, Kansas City, Kas., of old age. He had been practically an invalid for several weeks. Mr. BELL was 78 years of age. He settled in Wyandotte thirty-five years ago, having served through the civil war. He is survived by a widow and six children. The children are: Walter BELL, Mrs. Emma DAILY and Mrs. C. VANANKEN, of Kansas City, Kas.; Charles BELL, of the Indian Territory; Richard BELL, of Colorado; Alfred BELL, of St. Louis.
