BEHAM, RYAN "The Kansas City Journal" (Missouri) Friday, November 22, 1907 HE WOULDN'T HAVE A DOCTOR. Robert W. RYAN, president of the Ryan-Robinson Commission Company, died at his home, 1415 West Thirty-ninth street, Wednesday night, of typhoid-pneumonia. Mr. RYAN and his family were Christian Scientists and at no time during his short illness would he permit a physician to attend him. He was treated by Mrs. BEHAM, a Christian Science healer, and upon his death it was necessary to call in the coroner to certify to his death. Mr. RYAN was 50 years of age and had lived in Kansas City for the past sixteen years. He is survived by a wife and one son, William B. RYAN, 7 years old. The funeral services are to be held at the home at 2 o'clock this afternoon.
