"The Kansas City Journal" (Missouri) Saturday, November 5, 1910 SEEKS "HOBO" INSPECTOR. Chief of Police W. E. GRIFFIN is looking for a suitable man to fill the position of "hobo" inspector, recently created by the police commissioners. The new man's duty will be to keep a register of the unemployed men in the city who frequent the saloons of the North Side and to force them either to go to work or leave the city.
