Hello Listers, I've been researching my great-great grandfather, John G. DILL, for years. He was born October 10, 1807 in Pennsylvania and moved to SW Ohio in Hamilton County where he married and raised a family. The last Ohio census record I've found for him is in 1850 in Hamilton County with his wife, Ann, and children. According to a later document by Ann, John "went west on a business trip for a couple of weeks and was to return," but she never saw him again. He left shortly after the 1850 census. I'm presently searching for any death record or obit for him in St. Louis, but since he also had some step-relatives who left Pennsylvania for Kansas, I thought he might have moved on to the Kansas City area. Their last names were DILL also. If anyone has access to Ancestry.com and could check for any records or obits for John in Kansas City from about 1855 - 1900, that would be great. His middle name was Galbreath/Galbraith, a family name from Pennsylvania. Please let me know if you need any more information, and thanks for any help with this "mystery" male ancestor. ~ Barbara (Dill) Noble, Indianapolis IN ____________________________________________________________ Click to book your dream cruise. http://thirdpartyoffers.juno.com/TGL2141/fc/Ioyw6i3nL6YQQorcQeANTs1QrNJHqJUb0hG1j2LtjFVXOMRXUCjUB9/
