Hi everyone! I am new to your list and I am so excited! I just discovered my husband's grandfather who has been evading detection for some years. I found that he died in Kansas City, MO, in the General Hospital. It says on his death certificate that his place of burial or removal is "Anatomical Society" The rumor is that he was buried in a Pauper's Grave in Kansas City so the pieces are beginning to fall together. I can't seem to find out exactly what the Anatomical Society is or was. Is there any one on the list that knows about this and could show me the light. Thanks so much for any help that you can give me. Karen Haffermehl in Saskatchewan Canada -- I am using the free version of SPAMfighter for home users. I have no idea what the Anatomical Society was, but my first guess was that perhaps he generously donated his body to be dissected by medical students? -- JoLynne On 9/10/08 4:29 PM, "Karen H" <wk.haffermehl@sasktel.net> wrote: > Hi everyone! > I am new to your list and I am so excited!
