"The Kansas City Times" (Missouri) Friday, June 30, 1911 ONE DEATH FROM THE HEAT. Mrs. Mary GRUBEL, 67 years old, died yesterday from heat prostration at her home, 437 State Avenue, Kansas City, Kas. Mrs. GRUBEL was one of the pioneer residents of Wyandotte County. She was the widow of George GRUBEL, an early day hotel keeper. Mrs. GRUBEL came to Wyandotte County in 1860. She leaves three sons: George, Jr.; Frank J., and Edward C., who are engaged in the theatrical business in several Kansas cities, and one daughter, Miss Mollie GRUBEL.
