    3. "The Kansas City Times" (Missouri) Monday, February 3, 1902 DEATH OF EDWARD A. BAUER. Edward A. BAUER, formerly of this city, died yesterday morning at Holliday, Kas., of heart failure. Mr. BAUER was 45 years of age. The remains were brought to Kansas City yesterday afternoon and were taken to the home of Mr. BAUER's brother-in-law, Joseph A. BAILEY. Mr. BAUER came to Kansas City in 1870 and was in the liquor business here for twenty-two years. During the greater part of that period he was the manager of the Turner Hall society. Mr. BAUER left Kansas City in 1892 to take up farming near Anderson, Mo. A few years later he bought a farm near Holliday, Kas., on which he has lived for the last three years. Mr. BAUER's two brothers, Lee BAUER, who is in the commission business at 415 Walnut street, and August BAUER, proprietor of the Bankers' and Merchants' Lithograph company, reside in this city. The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home of Mr. BAUER's brother-in-law, Joseph BAILEY, 1405 Tracey avenue.
