BLODGETT, BROWN, BUCKLAND, DITZEN, ENRIGHT, GILBERT, GILLIAM, JAMES, McFARLAND, PIERCE, RICHARDSON, ROHE, SIMMONS, SIMS, STANLEY, WAMSLER, WIMMER, WOLFE "The Kansas City Times" (Missouri) Saturday, June 19, 1920 R. E. JAMES, who was the labor party's candidate for mayor on the Kansas side in 1919, filed yesterday as the Democratic candidate for state senator from Wyandotte County. Mr. JAMES and J. E. WIMMER, who filed as the Democratic nominee for sheriff, are the first of the Labor-Democratic combine to file. Few candidates have filed. The rush is expected to begin Monday, as the time for filing is up Wednesday night. John WOLFE, is expected to contest with Mr. WIMMER in the race for the sheriff's nomination. C. B. WAMSLER has filed as Democratic representative from the seventh district; A. J. STANLEY as the Republican candidate in the eighth district and Paul DITZEN as Republican candidate in the ninth. In the county commissioner fight, Frank S. ROHE has filed for the Republican nomination in the county district against David BUCKLAND, who has announced he will seek re-election. Two Democrats also have filed in this district: C. M. PIERCE and W. T. SIMMONS. William BLODGETT has filed for re-election in the district which comprises the south side of the city. Others who have filed are: R. J. McFARLAND, Republican, re-election as clerk of the district court. John T. SIMS, Republican, for re-election as probate judge. Earl GILBERT, Republican, public administrator. C. F. ENRIGHT and W. D. RICHARDSON, Democrats, marshal of the North City Court. William BROWN and J. L.
