"The Kansas City Times" (Missouri) Friday, September 22, 1899 FUNERAL OF JOHN A. TRAER The funeral of John A. TRAER occurred yesterday from his late home at 3110 Peery avenue. The burial was in Elmwood cemetery. Rev. J. E. Roberts officiated at the funeral. Mr. TRAER was 68 years old. He fell from his bicycle at Eleventh street and Grand avenue Tuesday afternoon and died later from hemorrhage of the brain. Nearly a year ago Mr. TRAER received a similar fall at Twelfth street and Grand avenue. Both falls were attended by mystery, but it is now believed that violent exercise on the bicycle caused Mr. TRAER to lose control of himself. In his first fall, Mr. TRAER ran into a buggy, severely bruising himself and causing concussion of the brain. He was attended by the police surgeon at that time. ============================================ (I have no connection with this person but I'd appreciate knowing if you found this posting helpful.) ============================================
