"The Kansas City Times" (Missouri) Tuesday, September 26, 1899 MRS. ULYSSES TURNER DIES Mrs. Genevieve McDOUGAL TURNER, wife of Ulysses S. TURNER, receiving teller at the Union National bank, and daughter of Judge and Mrs. H. C. McDOUGAL, died yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock at her home, 915 Woodland avenue. The cause of death was spinal meningitis which attacked Mrs. TURNER last Saturday. Such a start did the disease get that the doctors were powerless to check it and Mrs. TURNER succumbed to it yesterday. She had been in exceedingly good health and on Thursday gave a luncheon at her home to a number of women. Her death was sudden and will be mourned by a vast number of close friends and acquaintances in Kansas City, where she had lived many years. Mrs. TURNER was 26 years old and beside her husband, leaves two children, one of them quite young. The funeral arrangements have not been made. ================================================= (I have no connection with this person but I'd appreciate knowing if you found this posting helpful.) =================================================
