COMSTOCK, GREGORY, RYNARD, WINKLER "The Kansas City Times" (Missouri) Friday, December 17 1909 A WYANDOTTE PIONEER DEAD. Mrs. Sophia COMSTOCK, a pioneer of Wyandotte County, died yesterday at her home at Six Mile, west of Kansas City, Kas., on the Parallel Road. She was 74 years old. With her husband, Lyman COMSTOCK, she came to Wyandotte County from Penn- sylvania in January, 1867. Mr. and Mrs. COMSTOCK were married in Clarrion County, Pennsylvania. They lived there about fifteen years, and in the winter of 1866 started for Kansas. For several weeks they stopped at the old Kelly House on the levee in this city. The house in which Mrs. COMSTOCK died was built in 1871. She had lived there ever since. Her husband died fifteen years ago. Six children are living. They are M. F. COMSTOCK and G. W. COMSTOCK, who lived at the farm in Wyandotte County; J. W. COMSTOCK of Lemon, S. D.; Mrs. J. C. GREGORY of Independence, and Mrs. J. C. GREGORY of Independence, and Mrs. H. J. RYNARD and Mrs. L. S. WINKLER of Bucyrus, Kas. Funeral services are to be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the Forest Congregational Church at Six Mile.
