DOWNS, 24 years old, an employee of the Metropolitan Street Railway Company, died at his home, 829 South Coy Street, on the Kansas side, at noon yesterday. He is survived by a baby daughter and one brother, John J. DOWNS, 914 West Twenty-fourth Street. He had lived here about six years, coming to Kansas City from County Sligo, Ireland. The funeral will be held at the St. Thomas Catholic Church at 8:15 o'clock tomorrow morning.
