Bowdon, O'Brien, Guffin, Ferree, Phelps, Williamson, Jandus & Jones John O'Brien has been so helpful with his efforts to search for obits and other info relating to our Kansas City relatives, that it dawned on me I have several obits gathered earlier that I could post & share. Maybe they will help, maybe not. 1. BOWDON, Mrs. Mary J.., at 6:20 o'clock this morning at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Ross Guffin, 3220 Chestnut. Funeral services at 9:00 a.m., Monday, to which friends are invited. Interment private. Mrs. Bowdon was the widow of the late William G. Bowdon, a member of the Alabama judiciary. She came to Kansas City in 1866. Many friends will attest to her kindness and gentleness of character. Four daughters survive. They are Mrs. Ross Guffin, Mrs. C. M. Ferree, Mrs. Jennie B. O'Brien, and Mrs. E. H. Phelps. Separate notice immediately below: BOWDON, Mrs. Mary J., 82 years old, of 3220 Chestnut St. died Saturday of old age. Deceased was the father of Miss Kate O'Brien of Leadville, Colo., Mr. Branch O'Brien of New York, Mrs. C. S. Williamson of Salt Lake, Mrs. William Jandus of Cleveland, and Mrs. L. U.
