    3. DOUGLAS, KIRK "The Kansas City Times" (Missouri) Saturday, November 25, 1916 DEATHS IN KANSAS CITY. John W. KIRK, a city salesman in Kansas City for the past twenty-five years, died yesterday afternoon at his home, 3240 Bellefontaine Avenue, after an illness of a few hours. A pulmotor was used without effect. Mr. KIRK was born in Chillicothe, Ill., February 4, 1863. In 1891 he came to Kansas City from Chillicothe. For the past two years he had been city salesman for the Cutino Drug and Sundry Company. Prior to that time he was a salesman for the Webb-Freyschlag Mercantile Company for fifteen years. He was past master of Rural Mason Lodge, No. 316, and was a member of Oriental Commandy, No. 35.
