"The Kansas City Star" (Missouri) Tuesday, August 29, 1911 ASSUMES THE NATION MANTLE. Mrs. Myra McHENRY, Kansas "joint smasher" and follower of the late Carrie NATION, berated a man who entered the woman's waiting room at the Union Depot yesterday smoking a cigar. With the same direct manner that she adopted when she threw paving stones at a Wichita audience that had angered her, Mrs. McHENRY made direct for the man with the cigar. Directly in front of him she stopped and scolded him severely. "Get out!" she said. The man got. He was accompanied by two women but none of the three replied to Mrs. McHENRY.
