I am interested in information on the Wyandotte County Home for the aged. Are there records available to me such as health records and dated when of my relative was a residence there? Thank you. Ruby

Who are you looking for in particular and what time frame. Our society (Wyandotte County Genealogy Society) has a copy of the cemetery records near the old county home. Also the census lists the individuals who were there. We worked very closely with the Department at the Annex and transcribed all available records. I went to the home every Saturday for over a year with Marie Calvin and we visited the residents. Her mother was a resident. We also visited the residents in their new facilities after they moved.
