One Hundred Local Physicians Go to Joplin Meeting. Kansas City physicians, one hundred strong, left last night on a special train over the Kansas City Southern for Joplin, where they will attend the fifty-seventh annual meeting of the Missouri State Medical Association. J. A. McMANUS was in charge of arrangements for the railroad. More than two hundred and fifty doctors from the western section of the state were in the party. The meeting will be open this morning and conclude Thursday night. Every county is sending a delegation and it is expected nearly eight hundred physicians will attend. The Jackson County Medical Society has been given a place of honor on the program. Nine of the members tomorrow night will present the first act of George Bernard Shaw's satire, "The Doctor's Dilemma," which recently was given at the University Club here.
