Someone on the List was looking for Arapahoe County in Kansas and couldn't find it. I ran across the following information today. Looks like Arapahoe County was once in Kansas. Defunct Names and Dissolved Kansas Counties Arapahoe became part of Colorado 1861. Breckenridge now Lyon Buffalo 1887 became Garfield Calhoun 1859 became Jackson Davis
