"The Kansas City Journal" (Missouri) Monday, April 24, 1899 SALOON RUNNER DROPS DEAD. Harry BURER, a runner for a saloon at 1010 Union avenue, fell dead last nigh about 10 o'clock. He was 60 years old and had relatives in Pennsylvania. His death was caused by heart disease and alcoholism.
