"The Kansas City Times" (Missouri) Saturday, March 1, 1913 A YOUNG WIFE TRIES TO DIE Mrs. Della TOMLINSON, 18 years old and a bride of two months, shot herself in the right temple last night at the home of her father, B. G. CROUSE, 4216 East Seventh Street. Mrs. TOMLINSON was married December 26 to Richard TOMLINSON, a young farmer near Excelsior Springs. Recently she returned to Kansas City. Yesterday the husband came here to persuade his bride to return home. They were talking over their affairs at the CROUSE home last night, in the presence of her sister. Mrs. TOMLINSON went to a bureau, obtained a revolver and shot herself before the others could interfere. Dr. A. W. BLEIL, 4308 East Ninth Street, who was called, says she cannot recover. ====================================================== (I have no connection with this person but I'd appreciate knowing if you found this posting helpful.) ======================================================
