"The Kansas City Journal" (Missouri) Sunday, May 30, 1897 HUMANE OFFICER'S WORK. Humane Officer GREENMAN compiled his report yesterday for May. He handled 308 cases. Assistance was given to twenty-four families, seven lost children were found and returned to their homes, twenty-seven persons were given transportation out of the city, and three men and nine women were provided with employment.
