    3. "The Kansas City Times" (Missouri) Tuesday, May 7, 1918 DEATHS IN KANSAS CITY. Mrs. Lucy D. CARPENTER, 65 years old, died yesterday at her home, 1127 Cleveland Avenue, Kansas side. She was born near Wythville, Va., and came to the Kansas side in 1856, with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James N. MATHEWS. She is survived by her husband, Charles H. CARPENTER; two sons, Fred M. CARPENTER, 1028 Rowland Avenue, Kansas side and Bert M. CARPENTER; one sister, Mrs. A. HARTMEN, 2040 Washington Avenue, and two brothers, Jackson MATHEWS and James MATHEWS. The funeral will be at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the home.
