I am hoping someone can help me out with an obituary for Green W. Shrake, who died, according to cemetery records, on 19 December 1908. I believe he lived in KCKS at the time. The story I have is that he and his wife were killed in a gas explosion in their house on Woodland Ave His wife was Emily L. Robertson Shrake. She may have survived for a few days after the explosion, as the cemetery record gives her death date as 28 December 1908. I would, of course, be interested in an obit on her as well.
