    3. "Independence Sentinel" (Missouri) Friday, May 25, 1900 DEATH OF MR. CLEMENTS. H. B. CLEMENTS, one of the oldest and most highly respected citizens of Independence died at the home of his, John W. CLEMENTS last Tuesday from the effect of a stroke of paralysis. Funeral services will be conducted at the home of John W. CLEMENTS at 1 o'clock tomorrow afternoon by Rev. Dr. A. D. MADEIRA. Interment will follow at the family burying ground near Lake City. FUNERAL OF MR. CLEMENTS. The funeral of Henry B. CLEMENTS took place at the home of his son, John W. CLEMENTS at the corner of Waldo avenue and River boulevard at 1 o'clock last Wednesday. A feeling and appropriate funeral address was delivered by Dr. A. D. MADEIRA, late pastor of the first Presbyterian church. A large number of the friends of the family attended the services. The remains were taken to Lake City for interment with the following gentlemen officiating as pallbearers: Ed STRODE J. D. WOOD J. W. MERCER Dr. N. H. GAINES C. P. PATTESON W. R. WILSON W. T.
