D.: I had the thought of making a copy of the 1890 Kansas City city directory and looking up names. Although it can't replace the 1890 census, it could at least establish the fact that the person was in the area. I checked the Directory today and it's 682 pages (includes KC, MO & KS)! I could get 2 pages on a print but decided I didn't want to spend 34 bucks in dimes and also the afternoon making copies. So ....... if anyone wants me to do a 1890 lookup, send me the name and what side of the State line the person lived. I'll accumulate the requests and do them all at once.
