Very sad!!! COOPER, MIZER "The Kansas City Times" (Missouri) Saturday, January 20, 1912 DEATHS IN KANSAS CITY. Mrs. Agnes COOPER, 23 years old, the wife of J. D. COOPER, a farmer of Lebanon, Mo., died at the General Hospital early yesterday morning of mercury poisoning. January 8, while Mr. and Mrs. COOPER were staying at a rooming house at 921 East Twelfth Street, Mrs. COOPER accidentally took the mercury thinking it was codeine, to help a headache. Mrs. COOPER and her husband recently had come to Kansas City from Chicago. A brother, Sanford MIZER, lives at 609 East Twelfth Street. Two other brothers and five sisters survive. Mrs. COOPER formerly lived here, having been employed at the rooming house where she became ill. (I have no connection with this person but let me know if you found this posting helpful.) ----- Original Message ----- From: Teresa Dugan To: John O'Brien Sent: Saturday, February 15, 2003 11:08 PM Subject: obits John, I am interested in Agnes Cooper
