To all Kansas City Mailing List members: Although I've received messages of appreciate from some individuals, I'd like to get a better understanding of what's of interests to the people on the Kansas City Mailing List so I can focus my efforts in the right place. Currently, I'm posting items that I feel could affect the greatest number of people. >From the list below, please tell me what postings interest you the most. List in "most interest to least interest" order. (Example: 3, 5, 1, 4, 2): 1. Listings of deaths (with obits available on request) in the Kansas City area. 2. Listing of 1800's deaths in the Kansas City area (no obits available). 3. Listings of births in the Kansas City area. 4. "Happenings" (one sentence news items about people and events) 5. Feature articles about events in the Kansas City area with surnames. If there are not many people interested in the material I'm posting, I'll probably go back to giving assistance to individuals in their search for family members. Please respond to the List and indicate where you're located. Also, let me know if you have an interest that's not listed above. (I'll assume that the people on the List who don't respond to this survey have no interest in anything I'm posting.) Thank you for your help, John Kansas City, MO
John, I enjoy reading everything you post. I was born in Kansas City, Kansas and lived there over 20 years until I married and move across the state line. I have learned alot of tidbits that I did not know. You have looked up several obits for me, which I really appreciated, since I don't get back to Kansas much anymore since my parents are gone. I live in a small town in Missouri now. I for one would be disappointed, if you quit what you are doing. I think it is a great service you provide and I feel like if anyone doesn't like the postings, they have a delete button. Keep up the good work.
